Rapsodo Connection Troubleshooting

Rapsodo Connection Troubleshooting:

With changing firmware and software updates surrounding the PC, GSPro, and the Rapsodo MLM2 Pro, losing connection between the MLM2 Pro and GSPro may occur. With the steps below, getting that connection re-paired should be made quick and easy.

Removing The Device:

To start, please restart your PC. This should end any background tasks running that might prevent you from unpairing the device from the PC.

Once restarted, click Windows > Settings > Bluetooth & Devices and locate your MLM2 Pro. The MLM2 Pro can show up as either "MLM2" or "BlueZ". (Delete both if both are shown)

Refresh Bluetooth Adapter:

Without being able to manually select the MLM2 Pro in your PC's Bluetooth Devices, you'll need to refresh your Bluetooth adapter for Windows to forget the device. (Due note that all previously paired Bluetooth devices will need to be paired again)

Please type "Device Manager" into the Windows search bar and launch the application.

  1. Select the Bluetooth dropdown.

  2. Locate your Bluetooth Adapter. It should be labeled similar to the following. (Please ignore any Protocol or Enumerator options listed)

    1. Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)

    2. Realtek Bluetooth Adapter

    3. Broadcom Bluetooth

    4. MediaTek Bluetooth Adapter

  3. Right click your adapter and select "Uninstall Device" If prompted through another window, select "Uninstall" again.

  4. With the above steps done, restart your PC and the adapter will be automatically found once more.

Checking For Updates:

Before attempting to pair the device to the PC/GSPro again, please connect the MLM2 Pro via the mobile application. Once connected, select Troubleshoot and allow the mobile application to update to the latest firmware if available.

Similar to the above, please click Windows > Settings > Windows update > Check for updates, and update if available. (Pending Windows updates can on occasion cause some strange issues with Bluetooth connections)

Making The Connection:

With the above steps followed, no further steps are needed other than re-pairing the device.

  • If not done so already, authenticate your MLM2 Pro with GSPro.

  • Disconnect the MLM2 Pro from the mobile application. (Be sure to disable Bluetooth on your mobile device as the PC and the mobile device may fight for the Bluetooth connection otherwise)

  • Attempt the Bluetooth connection to your PC once more as though it were your first time connecting the device.

  • Launch GSPro from the desktop icon. (Little Golf Ball) Once GSPro has completely launched, your MLM2 Pro should be automatically found and paired again to the Rapsodo Connect Manager.
