# McAfee Antivirus

## Disabling McAfee Antivirus:

If your GSPro updated and your GSPro Connect application is no longer opening, and your PC has McAfee antivirus installed on it, please see the following.

1. Restart your PC
   1. This is required as McAfee has "locked" the files that are needing to be updated
2. Open McAfee via the Taskbar
   1. Click on the small arrow in the lower right of your screen

   3. Right click the red McAfee icon and then left click McAfee

3. Once the McAfee application opens, on the left hand side, open the main menu

4. Select real-time scanning

5. In the upper section, click the "Off" button
6. Disable for 30 minutes (it will automatically turn back on after the 30 minutes)

7. Close down McAfee
8. Open GSPro
9. Click Settings -> Game -> System
10. Click "Download Latest Stable" button

    Close GSPro
11. Restart GSPro via the desktop Launcher
